Paperdi to Install New Tissue Machine at its Pietramelara Mill in Italy

According to Fastmarkets RISI, Italy’s Paperdi plans to install a new tissue paper machine at its Pietramelara mill located north of Naples. The installation of the new PM4, which will have a 34,000 metric tpy production capacity, will start in September.
The PM will produce paper for the firm’s converting plant using both virgin pulp and recycled fibers as furnish. The Pietramelara mill also houses PM1, which can produce 34,000 tonnes/yr of tissue paper.
Paperdi’s tissue converting facility is located in San Nicola La Strada and can produce 90,000 metric tpy of finished tissue products. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
