Tissue producers and suppliers, like the rest of the forest products industry, are not immune to the impending “silver tsunami,” so recruiting and retaining talent remains a high priority. If your company is in the market for interns, co-ops, or fulltime employees ready to put their stamp on a career in tissue, we’ve got just the ticket for you.
The TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit, taking place over the Martin Luther King, Jr., weekend, January 18 – 20, 2025, is the must-attend event to position your brand as a go-to employer. It serves as the one-stop shop for interviews with candidates who have already built a solid industry foundation pursuing engineering and other technical degrees with an emphasis on forest products.
Historically, the Summit attracts approximately 200 students from anywhere between 12 and 15 colleges and universities. In 2024, more than 450 successful interviews were conducted onsite. To participate in the interviews, companies must purchase an Interview and Career Fair Sponsorship. Once purchased, sponsors receive two complimentary registrations, a company booth, access to all student attendees resumes prior to the event, and more. If desired, company representatives attending can also opt to participate as roundtable moderators.
The TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit is a once-a-year opportunity to meet and potentially hire your company’s “next gen” leadership. Don’t delay. Learn more today by visiting the website or contacting TAPPI’s Senior Engagement Manager Lisa Lockwood via email. Back to Tissue360 Newsletter |
