Vinda Launches Expansion Project at Xiaogan Mill in China

Vinda International recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 4 of an expansion project at its tissue mill in Xiaogan city, Hubei province, China. To startup at the end of this year, the Phase 4 expansion will boost the mill's tissue production capacity by 25,000 metric tpy, with plans to increase that to 50,000 metric tpy in two years. The Xiaogan mill currently has five tissue machines with an in-place capacity of about 50,000 metric tpy. Last year, Vinda's total annual production capacity was 320,000 metric tpy with seven production facilities in China.
