Solaris to Build New Tissue Converting Plant near Sydney, Australia

Solaris Paper, Australia, reportedly will build a new tissue converting plant in the Sydney, Australia, area, to come online this August. The A$20 million plant will convert jumbo rolls imported from China and Indonesia to make toilet and facial tissues and napkins.
Solaris distributes toilet and tissue paper products throughout the Australasia region to both away-from-home (AFH) and at-home retail markets. Its major AFH brand is LIVI, which is distrinuted in 37 countries, including North America and Europe.
