K-C to Upgrade No. 5 Tissue Machine at Aranguren, Spain

Kimberly-Clark’s Aranguren Mill in Spain has ordered from PMPoland S.A., Jelenia Gora, Poland, a member of the PMP Group, a reel rebuild for its PM 5 tissue machine. The project includes extended reel rails and a safety package.

The scope of supply for the dry end rebuild covers extended reel rails, safety guarding, and the threading and sheet stabilization systems. The project is scheduled to be installed in the third quarter of this year.

The napkin, tissue, and towel machine has a reel trim of 2,760 mm and a design speed of 1,500 m/min. The main goals of the project are to improve tail threading and sheet stabilization.
