SCA Sells Linselles Site, Moving Personal Care Business to Poland

SCA’s baby diapers and incontinence products plant in Linselles, France, has been acquired by French furniture manufacturer Meubles Demeyère. As announced earlier this year, SCA will cease operations of the personal care products plant on July 15, affecting some 280 employees.
SCA, Stockholm, Sweden, plans to move its retail brand production, which has been under heavy price pressure in the past years, from Linselles to Olawa, Poland. The purpose is to enhance efficiency and increase competitiveness of the company’s baby diaper business in Europe,
