K-C to Rebuild Reel System on Tissue Machine at Spanish Mill

Kimberly-Clark, Dallas, Texas, USA, has ordered from PMPoland S.A., Poland, a reel rebuild including extended reel rails and a safety package for PM 5 at its Aranguren, Spain, tissue mill. The scope of supply for the dry end rebuild includes extended reel rails, safety guarding, and threading and sheet stabilization systems. The project is schedule to be installed in the third quarter of this year.

PM 5 at the Aranguren mill has a reel trim of 2,760 mm and a design speed of 1,500 m/min. The main goal of the project is to improve tail threading and sheet stabilization.
