Orchids’ Snyder Receives "Technology and Passion" Innovation Award

Tissue Machinery Co. S.p.A. (TMC), Italy, has awarded its Technology and Passion 2012 –Innovation Award to Robert Snyder, president and CEO of Orchids Paper Products Co., Pryor, Okla., USA. Presented during recent Technology and Passion Club ceremonies at the Fondazione Giuseppe Lazzareschi – Piazza Felice Orsi – Porcari (Lucca), Italy, this is the sixth annual presentation of the award since its inception in 2006.

The award was given to Snyder based on Orchids’ modernization and strengthening of "a well established brand, keeping its identity in the marketplace." It is intended to reward people—entrepreneurs and employees—who "thanks to their skill, but above all their passion" have contributed significantly to the success of their company.

The award also includes membership in the Technology and Passion Club, which was formed with the goal of "bringing together and enhancing the excellence of Italian and international technologies."
