CMPC's new Tissue Machine at Protisa-Peru Operating Smoothly at 2,000 m/min

Protisa-Peru's new No. 3 tissue machine, Lima, Peru, is reportedly operating stably at 2,000 m/min, and is one of the fastest in the Chile-based CMPC Group. The crescent former machine, supplied by Recard of Italy, is 2,850 mm wide and has a 210 metric tpd production capacity. CMPC's tissue business area includes two tissue mills in Chile and two in Argentina, as well as the mill in Peru, one in Uruguay, one in Colombia, and three in Mexico. The company has a combined 310,000 metric tpy of tissue product capacity.
