Södra Increases Softwood Pulp Prices

Södra, Sweden, increased the price of its softwood pulp by $30 per metric ton, beginning March 1. The new price is $890 per metric ton. In announcing the increase, Ulf Edman, president of Södra Cell International, noted that the pulp market remains solid with increased demand and low stocks.
