Kimberly Clark, Dallas, Texas, USA, has completed the successful rebuild of tissue machine TM 2 at its Enstra Tissue Mill in South Africa. The rebuild project by Voith Paper, Germany, was focused on structure refurbishment, including installation and supervision service. To ensure improved operational reliability, the framing was given a general overhaul and the main framing parts were replaced.
Kimberly Clark Enstra produces tissue products with various basis weight ranges and furnishes on two tissue machines. TM 2, which originally started up in 1976, produces tissue with a web width of 3,450 mm.
