In China, Xuran Paper has started up a new 15,000-metric tpy tissue machine at its sole mill in Baoding city, Hebei province. Provided by local supplier Baoding Weituo Machinery, the unit has a trim width of 3.5 m and a design speed of 800 m/min. The company operates two other tissue PMs, each also having a capacity of 15,000 metric tpy. They were commissioned in 2017.

China’s Fude Paper has started up its first tissue PM at its new mill in Xinji city, Hebei province. The first sheet of paper rolled off the unit in late last month. Supplied by domestic company Shaanxi Bingzhi Machinery, the machine has a width of 3.5 m and a design speed of 800 m/min, with a capacity of 15,000 metric tpy. The machine was initially scheduled to come on stream at the beginning of this year. The company did not explain the delay.
