APCO is offering a new course, Fundamentals of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1), to prepare emergency communications professionals with crucial knowledge and expertise on NG9-1-1 topics, and how to prepare for NG9-1-1 developments that impact ECCs. The course is October 31 - November 1, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET in Daytona Beach, Florida, at APCO International headquarters. Some of the training topics include interoperability in the success of NG9-1-1, the critical need for reliability, redundancy and cybersecurity, and the benefits of NG9-1-1 technology to ECC operations.
