Devan Phillis is the frequency coordinator for the Ohio MARCS Program Office. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio, where he now lives with his wife Megan and their pets. Phillis attended the computer networking electronic technology (CNET) program at Mid-East Career and Technology Centers (Zanesville Campus). He has had several hobbies over the last 15 years involving two-way radios and/or electronics. In 2013, he turned his hobbies into a career by becoming an electronic technician (ET) 1 with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, where he worked for the next 11 years and earned two promotions to ET3. In 2022 he joined MARCS as the frequency coordinator. Phillis is now helping public safety agencies across all 88 counties of the state he is proud to call his birthplace and his home.
