Tim Scanlon, Curriculum Developer
Tim Scanlon joined the APCO Institute staff in 2014 and works as Curriculum Developer. In this capacity, Tim works creating new courses and learning resources as well as revising existing ones. Tim is pleased that he can contribute to APCO’s mission of bringing training to public safety professionals. He is especially glad to see the success of the Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) program which is now entering its second year with 32 graduates to date. Since joining APCO, Tim has also worked on the Law Enforcement Communications and the revision of PST – 7th Edition courses. Tim holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

APCO has filed a Project Initiation with ANSI and has issued a call for participation for workgroup members to participate in the creation of an ANSI standard addressing Cyber Security Training for Public Safety Communications Personnel.
