APCO member Linda Rose Ellis, 63, passed away Oct. 2 in Merryville, Louisiana. Ellis served as Beauregard Parish (Louisiana) Emergency 9-1-1 director after she was promoted from the post of 9-1-1 coordinator in 2014.

Rookie telecommunicator Meghan Vinehout gave post-birth instructions after a woman's premature birth of one of her twins. On the way to the hospital to deliver the second twin, the ambulance carrying the mother had an accident with a tractor-trailer but was able to continue to the hospital.
