Bob Bearss has been involved in designing RF and microwave backhaul systems for the City of San Diego public safety systems for over 18 years. In addition to his time with the City of San Diego, he designed radio communications systems for various public and private organizations. He is the lead engineer on the city’s APCO P25 project and is the engineer in charge of all FCC licensing requirements, applications and modifications. Robert is also a member of California Public-Safety Radio Association (CPRA) and has worked with the frequency advisory committee with regional frequency coordination.
