The 9-1-1 Honor Awards are now accepting nominations. These awards honor the heroes, individual leaders and outstanding groups/organizations of the public safety community. There are six award categories: Citizen in Action, Government Leader, Public Safety Professional, Industry Professional, Outstanding Call Center and NG9-1-1 Awareness.

Paul Linnée, 76, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has passed away after a life contributing to public safety communications in general and to APCO in particular. He was an APCO Life Member, a former Minnesota APCO president and served many other public safety organizations. His LinkedIn profile lists him as a current member of the GeoComm Corp.
