The current industry push is for ERCES deployments to support in-building communications for public safety agencies, but this can lead to adverse effects on the radio network if they are not properly deployed. In this webinar, V-COMM will unveil a collection of best practices for testing, designing and deploying ERCES to enhance in-building coverage, but not degrade the LMR network. The presentation highlights the critical need for public safety stakeholders to take definitive actions to safeguard their communication systems and their communities.

This month’s Teammates in Action Awards go to two members of the Metro Nashville Department of Emergency Communications:

  • Raionna Temple: On October 29, 2023, the Metro Nashville Department of Emergency Communications received a 9-1-1 call of an unknown age male who overdosed. He was not breathing and required CPR. Temple answered this call and provided outstanding customer service. She remained calm, professional and empathetic.

  • Mackenzie Bunker: On November 2, 2023, the Metro Nashville Department of Emergency Communications received a 9-1-1 call from a 74-year-old female advising she was possibly having a heart attack. Bunker did a fantastic job on this incident. She recognized how serious this situation was and remained on the line after the female caller became unresponsive. She provided the responders with all updates and was diligent in her duties to provide the best outcome for the patient as possible.

Please join us in congratulating Telecommunicators Temple and Bunker for their exceptional performance.
