The 2025 award winners are:

For years the 9-1-1 industry has been told that Next Generation 9-1-1 is on the horizon — it is coming soon so get ready. Recently, the industry has realized that some aspects of NG9-1-1 are already here. Currently, emergency communications centers (ECCs) take text-to-911 requests; solutions that are free to the ECC have been released, making it easier to adopt this type of solution. Similarly, ECCs around the country are adopting technology that brings either livestreaming video into the 9-1-1 center or live 9-1-1 calls into the patrol car. Read more
