APCO Show Daily
Monday, August 5

We begin today with the Opening General Session featuring legendary football coach and analyst for ESPN, Lou Holtz speaking about his game plan for success. The Opening Session starts at 8:30 a.m. in W Hall B4 on the second level of the convention center and directly followed by the exhibit hall ribbon cutting. Coach Holtz will be in the APCO Pavilion immediately following the session for a photo opp with attendees.

There is a lot going on in the exhibit hall this year, including the Career Advancement Center, Blood Drive, New Products Zone, Presentation Theater, and Attendee Lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi and charging stations. Also, back by popular demand is the Expo Quest where contestants have the chance to win a full complimentary registration to next year’s conference in Denver, CO.

Don’t forget to stop by the APCO Pavilion to talk about membership, frequency coordination, and training and certification. Also, take some time to browse the display of public safety artifacts collected by the Historical Committee.
