Machine breaks through extraction shaft on Eglinton Crosstown Extension

Tunneling on the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension is near completion. One of the two tunnel boring machines broke through the extraction shaft.
The boring machine, named Rexy, broke through the final wall at the Scarlett Road extraction shaft on April 26.
