In Memoriam – Mike Gutierrez

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of longtime CRA member Mike Gutierrez on February 2, 2018, at the age of 89. Mike was the founder of Orbit Rentals, which opened for business March 17, 1968, in Whittier, CA. During the 1990s, Mike worked with Scott Lundsford, current CFO of Orbit Rentals, to build the company into what it is today. Mike served as an officer for the original CRA Founders Chapter and as president from 1976 to 1988. In 1986, he opened the Party Rentals Store, which his daughters currently manage. Mike dedicated his life to the rental industry through hard work and practicing the business principles and ethics of the rental industry. His service was held February 8.
