Fuel Tanks

Thank you to all those who take time to participate in our surveys. CRA utilizes the information we gather to better serve you. If you have an idea for a survey for CRA members, please send your request to CRA at Info@CalRental.org for consideration. This month, we surveyed members about fuel tanks.
 
1. What type of equipment do you rent?
Party/Event: 16% (6 responses)
General Tool: 53% (20 responses)
Both: 32% (12 responses)

2. Do you have fuel tanks on site?
Yes: 66% (25 responses) 
No: 34% (13 responses)

1. Some yards.

3. Do you purchase your fuel from CRA’s Service Valued Provider, Robinson Oil Corp.?
Yes: 27% (10 responses)
No: 73% (27 responses)

1. Found their prices were too high.
2. Only mobile, not to fill tanks.
3. We are in Portland, Oregon.
4. We use Robinson as much as possible. There are no CFNs or Pacific Pride near us.

4. Can you briefly tell us why you don’t use Robinson Oil Corp.?
1. Price and availability of other petroleum products. 
2. Local supplier is next door, and Robinson Oil’s closest location is 45 minutes away. 
3. In-ground tanks.
4. Relationships with our local vendor.
5. I tried them, but the prices were not what they said I would save.
6. I have a portable 26-gal tank.
7. Not enough volume to pursue.
8. I didn’t know they serve CRA.

18. Robinson Oil put my account on COD during the last recession and then blocked my use. The company was not willing to reinstate my account after I paid in full.

2. Small engine equipment rentals.
