APT's 80th Anniversary Road Show Grand Finale in Santa Ana

After nearly a year of celebrating the company’s 80th anniversary across the nation, American Pneumatic Tools (APT) wrapped up the Road Show in its hometown of Santa Ana, California, on Dec. 5.

2018 marked 80 years of business for APT. The celebration took to the road on an 80th Anniversary Road Show with eight stops, culminating with the grand-finale event in Santa Ana.

“It was fantastic to celebrate not only in our hometown, but all across the nation,” said Andrew Mayer, Business Development Manager. “Eighty years is a huge achievement and we’re proud of the rich history that comes along with it and are glad we got to share that excitement with customers, reps and friends.”

The Road Show kicked off in February at The Rental Show in New Orleans. Events with demos, games, prizes and more were then held in Orlando, Florida; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; York, Pennsylvania; Mason, Ohio; Annandale, Minnesota; Hobbs, New Mexico; El Paso, Texas; and Santa Ana, California. After each event, APT shared photos and thank-yous on its Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages.

In addition to smaller prizes at each stop, APT was accepting entries for the grand prize: an APT 110 compressor and 160, 60 lb. breaker package. The drawing for the winner, All Star Rents in Fairfield, California, was held at the grand-finale event at Good Beer Company in Santa Ana. When the call was made to Andrew Devries at All Star Rents to deliver the good news, Devries, who said he hasn’t won anything in a very long time, was ecstatic.

“We couldn’t think of a better location to cap this yearlong celebration of our history than right here in our hometown,” said April Colaluca, Customer Service Manager & Marketing Communications Manager. “We are excited for 2019 and the next 80 years!”
