No longer tied down to an old purchasing model, cargo control suppliers can provide one-stop shopping with overnight delivery to meet tight construction and delivery schedules. When heavy equipment or cargo must be safely delivered on time, equipment rental and trucking industry managers as well as drivers rely on having the right tie down and cargo control gear on hand to secure the load to the trailer or flatbed.

Senate policy committees this week continued to approve California Chamber of Commerce-opposed job killer bills. The Senate Judiciary Committee passed SB 63 (Jackson; D-Santa Barbara), imposing a new maternity and paternity leave mandate. The Senate Environmental Quality Committee approved SB 49 (de León; D-Los Angeles), which creates uncertainty and increases potential litigation regarding environmental standards.

Even though they would probably have preferred staying home to tend to their stores, shops and services, more than 150 small business owners and supporters gathered to stand up for their economic livelihood and to protect the jobs of their loyal employees.
This Week in Petroleum – April 12, 2017:
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts that drivers in the United States will pay an average of $2.46 per gallon this summer for regular gasoline, according to EIA's Short-Term Energy and Summer Fuels Outlook. The forecast price for summer 2017 (which runs from April through September) is 23 cents/gal higher than the average price last summer, but is still nearly 70 cents/gal below the 2012-2016 summer average. The price increase this summer primarily reflects slightly higher forecast crude oil prices compared with last year. Monthly average gasoline prices are expected to increase from the March price of $2.33/gal to $2.51/gal in July, then fall to $2.43/gal in September. Calendar
