Each year CRA hosts a fund-raising golf tournament for the benefit of its foundation, RSIF (Rental Services Industry Foundation), whose purposes are to provide college scholarships to students interested in the rental industry, to help support members in need of disaster relief, and to provide rental-related educational projects. RSIF is a non-profit organization. This year will be the 5th Annual Tournament, and the tournament continues to grow each year! Isn't it time for you to join in the fun and play? If you don't play, how about rewarding your golfing employees with a day of golf? You don’t need to send a team of four golfers; we will pair singles with other golfers. Equipment vendors and their distributors will display their equipment onsite and, of course, offer refreshments and snacks.
The Tournament is held in Corona, CA, at the Eagle Glen Golf Course, a spectacular course that gives the impression of playing at a private club. Located in the hills, the course provides elevated tees and spectacular views. Register online or download a registration form.

One of the missions of CRA's Rental Services Industry Foundation (RSIF) is to promote education in the rental industry and that applies to adult students of all ages and at many levels. Full or part-time students in trade schools, community colleges, or universities are eligible for RSIF scholarships. Applicants must be CRA members or their employees or their college-age children. After several years of great memories on Railway Avenue in Campbell, 360 Payment Solutions recently announced that their California office has moved! A California Chamber of Commerce-opposed bill allowing the Attorney General and private attorneys to sue taxpayers for perceived tax errors will be considered by the Senate Appropriations Committee next week. AB 1270 (M. Stone; D-Scotts Valley) expands the False Claims Act (FCA) to allow the Attorney General and private attorneys to sue taxpayers for perceived tax errors, thereby creating inconsistent tax enforcement, litigation, and nuisance lawsuits for taxpayers. AB 1270 is being presented as a means to combat tax fraud, but it is a solution in search of a problem. The CalChamber is unaware of any reporting of rampant tax fraud in California that would justify new tools such as the FCA being utilized and which would potentially provide additional income if FCA lawsuits could be brought.
