CRA’s next Fourth Wednesday Rental Workshop will take place via Zoom on March 23, 2022, from 2:30-4 p.m. A workshop titled “Surface Prep, Identifying Layers to Build Your Rental Ticket” will be presented by Tony Calcopietro from EDCO.
Training for this FREE MEMBER BENEFIT runs for an hour and is followed by a Q&A session. Participants have a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card during the raffle held at the end of the workshop. Thank you, EDCO, for sponsoring this workshop! The definition of what is the best outcome has become more expansive in recent years. First, let’s define what we mean by best outcome. It’s where the injured employee’s discomfort is minimized, recovery is maximized, and the well-being of both the firm and employee suffer as little as possible. In the past, the employer’s focus has often been primarily on minimizing cost and settling the claim as quickly and economically as possible. But in recent years, the focus has shifted in a more holistic direction toward the well-being of the employee. In addition to creating a more positive work environment, the employer benefits from reduced litigation costs and a more productive workforce because employees return to being productive members of the firm sooner.

U.S. Supreme Court to Hear Case Determining What Qualifies Under Waters of the United States (WOHUS)
After a lengthy legal battle, the U.S. Supreme Court has decided to hear a case clarifying what bodies of water federal authorities may regulate. This comes after the Biden Administration’s attempts to reinstate controversial water regulations that would radically expand federal authority over private-property wetlands across the country.
