Peer Executive Groups (PEG) is very excited to announce the marvelous winners of the 2021 Top Gun achievements in advance of the fall PEG meeting schedule. This award is given to the Event Rental store operators who receive the PEG Pinnacle Award for Financial Excellence. It is only given to the top 25% of stores, based on two ranked financial indicators that are calculated from financial statements submitted by Event Rental store operators enrolled in PEG peer groups and non-members who elect to participate. This is the third year that PEG has named the Top 25% companies for Event Rental. These companies will be recognized for their outstanding achievement this October at PEG's Annual Peers & Beers Reception ahead of the ARA Show in Las Vegas, NV.

Peer Executive Groups currently administers peer groups in a variety of industries. In the rental industry, over 280 attendees participate in Peer Executive Groups.

Covering more than 30 acres, The Utility Expo is the largest event for utility professionals and construction contractors seeking the latest industry technologies, innovations, and trends.

Nationwide, at least 18 cases of wrongful death have been alleged by surviving family members of employees who died from COVID-19. The lawsuits contend that the employers provided unsafe working conditions and failed to follow federal and local COVID-19 safety guidance. What’s more, the lawsuits seek to go beyond the “exclusive remedy” of workers' compensation and seek monetary damages by alleging negligence. “Exclusive remedy” is shorthand for the bargain between employees and employers that exists in the workers' compensation system where employees give up their right to sue employers in exchange for no fault insurance against any injuries they incur.

CRA’s August 4th Wednesday Rental Workshop will take place via Zoom on the 25th from 2:30 – 4:00 pm. The topic this month is: “Surface Preparation: Floor Grinders, Planers, Scabblers, Floor Strippers, Accessories and Dust Control.” Learn how to successfully rent your Surface Prep equipment while building your rental ticket for the most common contractor & homeowner applications. Presented by Tony Calcopietro and sponsored by EDCO. Training for this FREE MEMBER BENEFIT runs for an hour and is followed by a Q&A session. Participants have a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card at the raffle held at the end of the workshop.

The agreement, which commenced 1 June 2021, appoints Arslift as the official distribution partner for Snorkel in the Russian Federation, to sell all Snorkel products, including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers and material lifts in the territory, as well as genuine Snorkel spare parts, and to provide technical service and support to Snorkel customers in the region.

Leading the hire industry towards the adoption of cleaner, more environmentally-friendly equipment, Platform Hire is the first hire company in the U.K. to offer these zero-emission scissor lifts to their customers. Built in the U.K. at Snorkel’s facility in Washington, Tyne and Wear, and utilizing British manufactured lithium-ion batteries, the first two Snorkel S3970RTEs were recently delivered to Platform Hire and have been immediately deployed in their rental fleet. The decision to purchase the lifts was made after a successful demonstration in April by Snorkel UK Area Sales Manager Scott Holtby, and these lifts are the first part of a larger order.
