"Super Lawyers Panel” at RVDA Convention/Expo Will Provide Ideas on Protecting RV Dealerships from Lawsuits
The 2019 RV Dealers Convention Expo will feature a special "Super Lawyers Panel” with RV industry legal experts who can help dealerships avoid costly lawsuits.
The panel, comprised of experienced attorneys who represent RV dealers and manufacturers, and an in-house attorney from a major RV manufacturer, will provide attendees their best ideas for preventing and defending lawsuits against a dealership on Thursday, Nov. 14, 9:00 - 11:15 a.m. The RV Dealers Convention/Expo is scheduled for Nov. 11 - 15 at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas strip.

Topics to be covered by the “Super Lawyers Panel: Flying in Formation to Prevent Litigation II” session include:
- The latest dirty tricks used against dealers in litigation and how to combat them
- Practical strategies for partnering with your manufacturer to resolve customer issues and prevent litigation
- Techniques for limiting time out of service
- How to effectively respond to claims
The presenters are Harold D. Oehler, Lazydays; Chris Lowman, The Lowman Law Firm; Rob Cohen, industry consultant, and Scott Folkers, Winnebago. The panel facilitator will be RVDA’s Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs Brett Richardson.
“This panel is an excellent opportunity for dealers and their employees to learn some pro-active steps to resolve disputes before they escalate into expensive and time-consuming litigation,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia.
