The fixed operations education track at the 2019 RV Dealers Convention/Expo will feature two workshops from Valerie Ziebron, an expert fixed operations trainer. Ziebron, a popular convention speaker, believes in creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment that focuses on real world solutions and achieves this through her mantra, “educate, motivate, and entertain.” Ziebron’s "Scheduling Best Practices" workshop starts at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 and will focus on straightforward best practices that are within a fixed operations department control for scheduling repairs, maintenance, sales units, and tracking workflow. |
During this workshop, attendees will learn the key elements of scheduling, how to evaluate what their shop is currently doing, and best practices for improving the scheduling process.
Directly following her first workshop, Ziebron will present “Shop Talk: Mastering Communications Inside Service” at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. This session will provide easy-to-use tips and tools to help fixed operations professionals quickly plan effective internal shop communication. Learning outcomes for this educational session include: how to use a simple shop communication template, effective ways to keep shop meetings positive and to remove negative comments, and communication topics teams can implement into meetings.
Visit the convention website for more information about the workshops and speakers as they are announced. The schedule-at-a-glance can be viewed here and will be updated periodically as the convention approaches.
