The following "Forward Regulatory Plan" is a look ahead at regulatory changes or actions under consideration by Transport Canada's Road Safety Programs group.
Amendments to the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations , the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations and the Motor Vehicle Tire Safety Regulations are being developed under the authority of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act ; amendments to the Commercial Vehicle Drivers Hours of Service Regulations and the Motor Carrier Safety Fitness Certificate Regulations are being developed under the authority of the Motor Vehicle Transport Act .
