"Spray Foam World Wide is a wealth of invaluable information for anyone in the spray foam and coatings business, which makes it a perfect pairing for introducing SPFA members that may otherwise never meet," said Ken Wells. SFWW is a Facebook group of industry professionals dedicated to spreading and growing knowledge of SPF. Each year, SPFA and SFWW link up for a drawing that rewards one entrant a full convention pass to the Sprayfoam Convention & Expo.

"Spray Foam World Wide, in a way, is the missing piece to our industry, with some of the industry's top spray foam applicators from around the world sharing real-world field experience knowledge," said Bill Biden, founder of SPWW and chief executive officer of Piranha Tools. Biden is working with SPFA this year to promote the SPFA Convention & Expo on its social media channels.

"When a person posts an on-site troubleshooting question and receives 15 answers in five minutes, it's pretty incredible!" Biden said, highlighting the connectivity of industry professionals in the SFWW group. "The members of SFWW are what make this Facebook group so valuable! The professionalism in the group is second to none in our industry. Our goal is to minimize the mistakes in the industry that hurt us all, and to lead with a professional example." Biden's Piranha Tools produces next generation spray foam application tools, and some of those tools will be on display at the IDI distributors booth, #619.

"There are so many super knowledgeable members in slightly different disciplines that even a seasoned pro will learn things [with SFWW]," said Wells. Wells thinks SFWW's contests help generate interest in both the industry and its events, adding a fun dynamic with great prizes.

"I had already planned on attending the trade show, but was still super excited to win," said Wells. "As every business owner knows, every little bit helps! California is a state I've never traveled to, so that in itself is exciting, and I'll certainly be happy to see friends and colleagues that I haven't seen in a couple of years." Wells' company PolyPro LLC have several projects that are finalists in the SPFA Industry Excellence Awards, which will be presented at the 12th Annual SPFA National Industry Excellence Awards Luncheon on January 31 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
