SPFA Organizing Member Participation now for National Insulation Industry Policy Fly-In Days, May 8-9 2018
The Insulation Industry Association Coalition (IIAC), formed by and consisting of the various insulation-focused associations in the United States including SPFA, announces National Insulation Policy Fly-In Days, taking place May 8-9, 2018 in Washington DC.
This event will start in the headquarters hotel, where topical briefings and presentations will take place, and finish with a mid-morning buss ride to Capitol Hill. Once on the Hill, attendees will head with their group for pre-scheduled meetings with various legislative representatives to discuss important policy topics that affect their businesses and the industry. 2017 Insulation Fly-In topics consisted of The Contributions of Insulation to the US Economy (based upon a published
report from American Chemistry Council ACC); Immigration's role in the recovery of the US construction industry; Smart regulations to protect workers, the public and our environment; Homeowner tax credits; Department of Energy (DoE)s Building Technologies Program funding; and the prospect of forthcoming "Energy Bills," known as Shaheen-Portman.
The 2018 event will be bigger and better than 2017 and still is inclusive of all insulation types.
SPFA as a co-sponsor of the event will be sending specific information about this to members. If you have questions or want to demonstrate your immediate support, send
Kurt Riesenberg an email with subject line: "Insulation Fly-In".
