San Antonio Riverwalk
889 East Market Street – San Antonio, TX
The room block we have at the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio is filling up! Be sure to make your reservation soon to ensure you get into the Headquarter Hotel at the discounted rate. Please note, we are holding a few rooms on the weekend nights before and after our convention for those that want to extend their stay. If you are arriving early or staying late and get a notice while making hotel reservations that the hotel is sold out, don’t panic yet – contact kmarcavage@sprayfoam.org. When we are this early in the hotel reservation process, chances are you got this notice because one of the shoulder dates is filled and we can make adjustments based on hotel availability. This is why you should act NOW – we may be able to tweak the block now, it is much harder to do closer to our convention.
Please note: The hotel will be offering the SPFA discounted rate until February 7, 2022 or until our room block sells out. Historically the rooms in the Headquarter Hotel fill quickly, so please make your reservation soon!

SPFA is doing its part to bring awareness of open positions in the industry to our members, partners, and untapped talent pools. For every one of these positions going unfilled it’s an opportunity missed, an extra staffing challenge drawing attention away from other important priorities, or a customer perhaps needing to wait longer than they should have to.

This directory reflects membership as of June 2021. If you would like more information on Member Benefits and how to join SPFA to be included in next year’s edition, please contact kmarcavage@sprayfoam.org.

Presently nine states have restrictions in place on the use of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) blowing agents used in high-pressure closed-cell spray polyurethane foam (ccSPF). These states include WA, CA, CO, NY, VT, MA, NJ, MD and DE. Starting January 1, 2022, two more states, ME and VA, will be added to this list. Five other states, OR, NV, TX, CT and RI are developing similar regulations that could be in place by 2023. However, it is possible that these states may defer to federal action on HFCs. EPA recently approved several petitions under the AIM Act. This approval indicates EPA is planning to implement a national framework to phase-down HFCs.
The American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry website maintains an interactive map that summarizes state-specific requirements. The map may be found here. SPFA recommends that all SPF contractors doing business in these states work with their suppliers to determine the specific details regarding the transportation, storage, sales and reporting requirements for each state.
