Beginning in September, SPFA will showcase the great work being done by PCP Certified Individuals. We want to show the world, via social media, the benefits of hiring PCP certified professionals! All PCP Certified Individuals will receive an email next week with the details.

The Field Exam Logistics Working Group is holding the kick-off meeting for the upcoming Field Exams. All Field Exam sponsors from 2022 and volunteers have been sent the meeting invite. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kelly Marcavage for the meeting information.

By the middle of next week we will begin accepting proposals from those who are interested in speaking at SprayFoam 2023 Convention. The submission process will remain open through September 13. Visit https://www.sprayfoam.org/sf23speakers for details! New in 2023, if a speaker would like to give a more in depth presentation, they may expand the topic into two (or possibly three) concurrent breakout sessions.

 The NIE Awards submission link site will available later this month. Completing a submission will be easier than ever with the improvements made!
Here is what you will find:
Save and Return Feature – Those doing submissions will now be able to save their work and return at a later time to complete the submission process.
Expanded timeframe for eligible projects – Projects completed between December 1, 2020 and November 30, 2022 can be submitted! Please note that projects previously submitted CANNOT be re-submitted. With the timeline change, there is no need to wait until your current project is done – now you may use one completed in the past and start pulling together the information and photographs needed for submission.

We’d like to invite SPFA members to a contractor meet-up, carnival and conference on August 26-27 at the Omni Viking Lakes hotel in Eagan, Minnesota. It’s for spray foam and insulation business owners and salespeople (families and kids welcome!) There will be a full, free carnival with rides and midway games on both days. On Saturday, there's an educational conference featuring speakers and panel discussions with industry leaders, experts in building science, sales, safety and business evaluation. On Friday, you can suit up and test out various spray foam and coatings equipment and material in 5+ outdoor spray booths. Visit and network with representatives from 20+ companies exhibiting throughout the carnival, including SPFA staff, and enter to win door prizes and giveaways.
