Thank you to everyone who responded to the most recent SPFA survey. The purpose of the survey was to gauge the interest of SPFA members and convention attendees about the possibility of holding dates outside of the traditional January-February pattern. SPFA will use this information in our specs for 2024 and beyond. We’ll broaden the spectrum of dates to include March and as always, we’ll do our best to avoid World of Concrete, the International Roofing Expo and the National Association of Home Builders.

Your response:
- 51.14% said they prefer to keep the event in either January or February.

- 36% indicated that the event could also be held in March.

- There was a lot of concern about holding the event in October or early fall because contractors are still quite busy and there are other industry events.

Respondents consisted of 77% SPFA members, of which about 53% are contractors and 33% are suppliers.

Each of the SPFA survey respondents who entered their contact information was entered into a drawing for a $100 gas card…. AND THE WINNER IS …(drum roll please!)

The transportation construction world continues to learn lessons about risk and relationships in design-build. With an unprecedented amount of federal aid anticipated for highway, bridge and transit projects, it is also starting to move further toward progressive design-build (PDB).

Please visit the SprayFoam 2022 Recap pages to get the latest information on what transpired in San Antonio in the PCP.  The Certification Activities page recognizes the great work that was done by industry partners in making the Field Exams happen. The great news is that you can still earn your certifications, even though the convention ended.  With the exception of the Field Exams, everything else can be done remotely and we are here to help!  If you need a Field Exam, we will work with you to arrange. Simply contact certdirector@sprayfoam.org for details.

SPFA Job Board
SPFA is doing its part to bring awareness of open positions in the industry to our members, partners, and untapped talent pools. For every one of these positions going unfilled it’s an opportunity missed, an extra staffing challenge drawing attention away from other important priorities, or a customer perhaps needing to wait longer than they should have to.
