SPFA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help with bookkeeping, human resources administration and support our other programs. This is a part-time, work-from-home position reporting to the Executive Director. From April to September, the workload will be approximately 10-15 hours per week and from October though March, approximately 20-30 hours per week. Pay will range from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

SprayFoam 2023 will be in Daytona Beach, Florida, from Sunday-Wednesday, February 12-15. The expo, conference sessions, field exams and PCP activities will be held at the Ocean Center. This is same location as the SprayFoam 2019 event. The headquarter hotel is the new, ocean front Daytona Grande Hotel, which opened in June 2021. It is conveniently located to both the Ocean Center and other Daytona Beach attractions. Based on the success of our 2022 convention, SPFA staff is planning for more attendees, exhibitors and field exam participants! A preliminary schedule of events is available at https://www.sprayfoam.org/sprayfoam23 . As details become available, the website will be updated, so check back often! It will be an exciting week with a trifecta of special days making SprayFoam 2023 even more exciting! Sunday, February 12 is Super Bowl Sunday. SPFA will hold a party so you can watch the big game with your SPF friends! Tuesday, February 14 is Valentine’s Day – this is a great reason to bring that special someone to SprayFoam with you! Sunday, February 19 is the Daytona 500 – if you are a racing enthusiast, or if this has been on your bucket list of things to do, then 2023 may be the year for you to see this exciting sporting event in person!

About 36,000 new employees started construction jobs in May, but that is a small portion of the 494,000 construction workers needed at the end of April. The increase in job openings represented the largest total since recording the data began in 2000.
