The ACC OSHA Alliance will be participating in the 2023 Spray Foam Convention & Expo in Daytona Beach, Florida. The ACC OSHA Alliance provides members, workers and stakeholders within the polyurethanes value chain with information, guidance and access to training resources to help protect the health and safety of workers handling diisocyanates. OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialist Amy Wilson will give a presentation on OSHA’s fall protection campaign Wednesday, February 15 11:15 am-12 pm. In 2021, fall protection was the most cited standard during workplace inspections. Spray foam installation often requires the use of ladders on a construction site, making safe use of fall protection important. Additionally, the Alliance will run a booth in the Expo Hall with materials related to the spray foam industry and OSHA’s suicide prevention campaign, an important focus area for OSHA.
