Hands-On Fun!

This spring, SSPC’s Board of Governors approved a staff project to help improve the organization internally. We decided on a garden; not only to enhance the beauty of our campus headquarters, but to provide a community wellness activity that would allow staff a different kind of hands-on project. We planted a variety of cedar and maple trees along the property lines, and installed four garden boxes of herbs and vegetables for the staff to maintain and harvest. In just a couple short weeks, our garden transformed the look of the campus completely.
