SSPC Staff Assist Local Charity

On July 19, SSPC volunteered at the annual Day of Hope Picnic helping serve more than 600 meals with the Light of Life organization, working at the donations table and handing out new clothing and backpacks. Light of Life Rescue Mission is a Pittsburgh nonprofit dedicated to empowering homeless men, women and children. In the final hour of the 90 degree day, our staff feared that Light of Life had no water bottles to dispense, but full coolers kept being found, keeping both the overheated recipients and SSPC employees cool and refreshed.
