With the support of facility owners, SSPC is confident that our blaster and spray painter programs can be used to develop a qualified pool of craft workers. especially now that more major companies have begun to specify and approve the SSPC craft worker training programs. SSPC understands that craft workers must have experience and training in all aspects of hands-on surface preparation and coating application. We have long recognized the need for a comprehensive training program that sets the standard for a trained and qualified workforce to meet the facility owners’ need for quality work done safely and at a reasonable cost. As our industry grows, a skilled workforce is needed to apply the sophisticated coatings required to meet strict environmental and performance (durability) requirements.
The following craft worker programs will be held at Coatings+:
- Abrasive Blasting Program (C7)
- Aerospace Maintainer Coating Application Training (AERO MAIN)
Coating Application Specialist Certification Program (CAS) - Floor Coating Basics (C10)
- Ground Vehicle Corrosion/Protective Coatings Course (GROUND VEH)
- Spray Application Program (C120)
