SSPC Conducts 2nd Pilot for Concrete Coating Applicator Specialist Program

This past March, SSPC held the second pilot course related to the new Concrete Coating Applicator Specialist training set to debut in 2019.
The course was hosted by Alpine Painting in Patterson, NJ, March 4-7 where experts from the industry including members of the SSPC Education Committee, Board of Governors, Alpine Painting Staff, select vendors and SSPC development staff looked to refine the course prior to release.
The content of the program covers Assessment, Surface Repair, Surface Preparation and Coating Application on concrete surfaces. It will be the first certification program of its kind for craftworkers who apply coatings to concrete. The program is slated for release in the 2nd quarter of 2019.
