APAC and LATAM Advisory Council 2019 Elections Announced

The SSPC Advisory Council for Asia-Pacific and Latin America have announced both councils 2019 representative election schedule. For 2019 a total of six representative positions (three with Asia-Pacific, and three with Latin America) will be open for nomination and election later in 2019. SSPC Advisory Council is made up of volunteer SSPC members and is comprised of nine members for each regional council and has an elected Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary, who serve in their leadership position for a period of two years.
Nominations of SSPC members for representative election consideration will open on August 1 and end on September 30, 2019. SSPC Members can self-nominate or nominate another SSPC Member who resides or works more than 50% of their time in the region and is in good standing with a member affiliation of: Individual Member (IM) or Organizational/Corporate (OM) Representative and be from one of the following membership demographics: Facility Owner, Coating Contractor/Paint Shop, Coating Manufactures, Coating Material Suppliers, Other Product Suppliers (associated with coatings industry), Service Providers (inspection, specification development, engineering), Government (ministries, military, labor), Academic (university, college, trade/technical school).
Elections will be conducted during the month of October (open 1st – 31st) with voting only being available to SSPC Members who reside in both regions.
