Three new employees have been brought on full time with SSPC this year
Julie Chiem, Accounting/Administrative Coordinator 
Julie is so excited to be joining the team at SSPC! In her previous role as an account manager, Julie integrated new software and developed new A/R processes. She is eager to introduce fresh concepts and always seeks to improve the customer experience for SSPC’s members.
Haley Urben, Member Services Assistant/Publications Coordinator
Haley graduated from Allegheny College with a B.S. in Environmental Science. She previously worked as an REI Adventure Hiking Guide in the Smoky Mountains and also spent some time working on a farm, interning at the Mercer County Conservation District and teaching preschool. She is excited for the new opportunity here at SSPC and looks forward to learning about the industry and her role as the Membership Assistant/ Publications Coordinator.
Gwen Metcalfe, Marketing Communications Specialist
Gwen is a born-and-raised Pittsburgher, and a graduate of La Roche University where she earned a B.S. in Graphic Design. She was hired in January with SSPC as a marketing specialist, focusing on marketing our annual conference and Tech Services. When she’s not in the office, she’s either gardening or making art.
