The people have spoken and SSPC has listened!
SSPC has developed a training course designed to teach coating applicators the technical expertise they will need to successfully apply fireproof coating materials. SSPC’s new Intumescent Fireproofing Coating Application Specialist course will prepare coating applicators for on-the-job application of intumescent coatings.
Throughout the 2.5-day course, attendees will learn about the basics of fireproofing, intumescent coatings, key documents, surface preparation, application and quality control. In addition to learning about key concepts of intumescent coatings in the classroom, attendees will participate in hands-on coating application workshops. There is a hands-on workshop each day of the course. The course is completed when students take a 25-question multiple choice exam covering all of the learning outcomes from the course content.
This course release is the latest development of SSPC’s long history of providing the coating applicators of the world with the knowledge they need to get the job done accurately and efficiently.
