SSPC is working with the Malaysia Chapter to begin planning a 2021 Southeast Asia Corrosion Conference to take place in Kuala Lumpur. More details and dates to follow. This would be a collaborative effort between the Asian Pacific Advisory Council, as well as the Philippine Chapter working with the Malaysian Chapter.
SSPC and the Malaysian Chapter are planning on exhibiting at the MOGSEC 2020, the 5th Malaysian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference.
SSPC continues to expand its relevance and presence in Southeast Asia with alliances with six training facilities in Malaysia, two host facilities in Thailand, as well as training collaborations being finalized in the Philippines. These facilities are equipped to deliver the C7 Abrasive Blasting and C12 Spray Painting Certification Programs.
SSPC certifications have been included in the Malaysian HRDF (Human Resource Development Fund) and the Petronas Industrial Skills Framework Guidebook. Petronas has sent an e-mail blast regarding this program. SSPC is proud to be a provider of critical skills training and certifications that advance the oil and gas sector, the skilled craftworker, and Malaysia!
