Following SSPC’s spring reorganization, new projects and initiatives continue to demand growth and development from the organization. We have kept up with these developments with several more staff additions and promotions:
Don Molinari, Technical Services Specialist
Donald Molinari is the new Technical Service Specialist for SSPC, The Society for Protective Coatings, located in Pittsburgh, PA. Among the many duties in this role, Donald will be responsible for providing technical support for members and the SSPC staff, develop written technical information pertaining to good practice and emerging technologies in the field, and representing SSPC through industrial technical committees and trade shows/exhibits in a variety of functions.
Graduating with a B.S. in business management from The Pennsylvania State University, Donald has also achieved various certifications/awards while in the coatings field, such as NACE Coating Inspector Level 1, KTA-Tator, Inc. Level 1 Coatings Inspection and Level 1Management of Coatings Failure Investigations, and PPG’s Protective and Marine Coatings 2 Day Intensive Coatings Training and PPG’s PMC Corrodere Coatings and Corrosion Training, while earning consistent sales awards (President’s and Rainmaker) while working for Sherwin Williams.
Donald has been in the paint/coatings world for 34 years, successfully contributing in a variety
of roles from sales, management, commercial application, and most recently, technical service
with PPG. This diverse background should serve him well in this new and challenging position.
Cara Blyzwick, Individual Membership Specialist
Cara is very excited to be a part of the SSPC team. Previously, she scheduled and planned events for the non-profit, The Wellness Champions. Prior to that, she worked in industrial sales with ISO certificate. She hopes to impart to SSPC members how their involvement with the organization and the development of standards is elevating the coating industry.
Nathan Wyman, Assistant Controller
Nathan has been with SSPC for three years and has worked in our training and membership department. He is very excited to help SSPC in his new role as assistant-controller within the finance and operations department.
Diane McGuire, Organizational Membership Specialist
Diane has 15 years of experience working in membership and chapters for non-profits, including SAE and ASRA, as well as many years in sales. She is very excited to be part of the SSPC team and hopes to use her skills and experience to enhance membership and make a difference in people’s lives.
Morgan Stamm, Marketing Communications Specialist
Morgan Stamm is a recent graduate of Chatham University with a B.A. in media arts with concentrations in graphic design and film and digital technology. She also has a minor in marketing. Her responsibilities include designing promotional materials for SSPC and marketing SSPC’s services to audiences both the domestic and abroad.
She has worked with marketing in the past by managing social media accounts for the past three years with the Pittsburgh Passion football team and spent two years previously with Chatham University’s marketing and communications departments.

Bree McCullough, Multimedia Specialist
Bree McCullough, a West Virginia native, joined SSPC in May in the new position of Multimedia Specialist, and is responsible for producing and editing video for the organization.
Before joining SSPC, she was a student at West Virginia University where she graduated with a B.S. in journalism, majoring in strategic communications. During her time at WVU, she interned with two colleges as a multimedia intern where she was responsible for graphic design, videography, photography, communication and marketing. She also co-founded an organization exploring new and emerging technology such as augmented reality, virtual reality and 360-video.
Gina Merico, Program Delivery Coordinator
Gina graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in child development and a minor in communications. She previously worked at American Income Life before moving to Pittsburgh and pursuing a career at SSPC in April 2018. She works in the Training and Certification Department and handles the grading process.
Melissa Pinolini, Program Delivery Coordinator
Melissa joins the SSPC as a new resident of Pittsburgh, originally from southern New Jersey. She brings with her more than 13 years of customer service and business management experience, most recently working with Auffenberg Inc. as a services coordinator and customer service manager. Her areas of experience and expertise will see her working closely with the SSPC team to ensure an excellent member experience.
Troy Eisenhauer, Program Delivery Coordinator
Troy is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a B.A. in history, currently working towards an MBA at Robert Morris University. Since graduating from Slippery Rock, She has worked for PNC Bank and UPMC and started with SSPC in March 2018.
Taylor Braxton, Member Services Assistant/Publications Coordinator
Taylor Braxton jons the SSPC as the new Member Services Specialist /Publications Coordinator. She previously worked with TrueSense Marketing as a media coordinator where she was in charge of processing all invoices through the media department.
