SSPC administered the DoD-Allied Nations Technical Corrosion Conference for the second time this past Aug. 12-15, 2019. Owned by the Corrosion Policy and Oversight Office (CPO) of the Department of Defense, the conference brought in more than 580 attendees from around the world to Oklahoma City for four days of technical programming, workshops, training courses, corrosion awards and networking. The theme this year was Corrosion Prevention and Control: The Intersection Between People and Technology. This intersection was visibly present throughout the week as attendees made their way through the co-located exhibit hall, meeting vendors from across the industry showcasing their latest corrosion mitigation technologies and initiatives. With Senior Government officials and top corrosion engineers in attendance and participating as speakers, access to the technical presentations was in high demand.
