With a focus to enhance the value of our membership, FWHRMA has launched a new Legal and Regulatory Hour to compliment our regular monthly luncheons. This program is held an hour prior to the meeting and is FREE to luncheon attendees who are current members of FWHRMA. Non-members can attend for an additional $10. The first two sessions have been approved by HRCI for an additional hour of credit. The January topic was Texas Payday Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act and February was "You’ve Got Mail" – Responding to an EEO Charge. These inaugural events have become popular fast as we are glad to be able to deliver such important programming to our members. The next Legal & Regulatory Hour will be on May 16th just ahead of our monthly luncheon.

April brings more than Showers in Fort Worth! The 14th Annual Employment Law Update will be held on Thursday, April 18th at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary – The Riley Center. This all-day event has become known as the premier HR Law update in Fort Worth. For Members, the registration fee is $165; for non-members it is $190. To register click here: ELU registration.
